Small idea which i always felt missing even in wallbase was a comments pane for every wallpaper. best place to incorporate this in my opinion would be on the left side pane.

hassanyaseen: we've never been keen on comment sections for wallpapers so I doubt this will happen.

the tags are very slow, and the pictures load a bit slow but i suppose that will be fixed. thx for keeping "wallbase" alive :)

@clippeh It's already fixed in our development version.

Maybe add option to see "most viewed" or "most favorite" in our upload sections so uploaders can check stats of their own pictures? Personally, can live without it if that is too much of a problem. Sorry if this was somewhere mentioned before...

Death666: we have no ETA, but we've been putting out small updates more regularly. We plan for the site to be pretty much done besides a few tweaks before we go beta. As for load times, we've been having problems with server performance and are looking into it.

I would say that this site is very well done for being in 'alpha' stage of testing. The only major thing missing would be the ability to look for higher resolutions of the same image needs to be implemented.

Once again, a very big thank you to the staff for making this site.

What about "donate" button? (Even if you're rich) ;)

I think that most of us here are going to miss wallbase, but I hope that people don't assume that this will be a clone to the original. Here is a fresh start where problems can be addressed and changes undergone without the fear of upsetting an entire community. As much as we like seeing a familiar format, I would challenge those in creation of this site to shoot for the skies to bring us the best they can offer. I don't want to come off sounding like I want, "ANARCHY!!!!", but at the same time, I hope that we all keep an open mind to any potential changes that could occur. I love the familiar look and feel to the site, but change inspires growth; don't be afraid to change.

Thank you very very very (.. please put as many as you want) for bringing wallbase.cc back! I loved this page so i will love your piece of work too!

on wallbase with infinite loading pages if my computer went to sleep (not deep sleep) and then wakes up later, I remember it kept the state of the page as is (too bad I can't test it out anymore)

it does not seem to be the case with wallhaven e.g. : I'm back at the end of page 1

when I dident connect with wallbase my heart where crushed, I desperatly started google.. now im here and im whole again

Not sure if this was discussed before (I don't feel like scrolling down the comments that much). Currently when you open a wallpaper it doesn't say if it's in General / People / Anime . The way to figure is just activating or deactivating the filters on the main page and hope that particular wall is there, and there's no way to edit that neither like we can do with the SFW Sketchy and NSFW filters.

The reason why we don't allows users to change this is because it can be abused.

So wallbase is truly gone. ;( Long live wallhaven. I hope that forums will be available soon, hopefully with a resurrection of "what are they doing" thread. One last comment: too many pictures are in the nsfw category and they don't deserve to be there. Fully clothed and in NSFW. WTF? Sketchy. People, that is sketchy not NSFW. But I guess that will be corected in time. Long live wallhaven. ;)

@Siggewest: we're working on a top list, but you can already sort searches by # favourites.

ProtoDrake: we have a grouping system for this purpose, but it requires that the duplicates are detected and grouped, or for staff to do this manually.

Finally wallbase obtains a new life by arising from ashes ! i love this website so much and you guys can count on me for uploading some of my beautiful wallpapers. really good job !
