we should have the posibility to sort our wallpapers in the upload tab of the profile juste like in wallbase with categories like upload date(what seems to be the actual storting thing), highest favs and highest views

Just a heads up, uploads will now appear in the latest listing after at most 20 minutes (previously 10). We've noticed the site slowing down, so we're trying to help speed it up a bit while we wait for the next update.

Also a reminder to uploaders: Complete your uploads! We still have hundreds of wallpapers that are stuck! Eventually, they will all be removed if not completed.

cfunk First, thanks for your explanation xD I have some ideas (possible solutions?) for the "moderating tags" problem you presented in your previous comment :D

1. Make a duplicate of this comment page dedicated just for reporting duplicate tags (maybe other tag problems as well) and once a moderator solves the problem, he/she marks the comment as "Resolved" and I gets dropped to the end of the list (or removed).

2. Implement a moderating system much like the ones you see on gaming server, forums (and even Facebook pages) where you can assign some trusted and well recognized contributors as moderators/Super Moderators (not full-on admins) and give them permission to moderate tags, delete duplicate tags/wallpapers...etc

Personally, I prefer the second option. not only it is more convenient, but it also makes the site more community driven and less dependent on admins (like what happened to Wallbase).

Hi, also interested whether possible to recover favourites from Wallbase account. I'm a developer so to some extent if allowed I might help.

It would be cool if people could comment at every photo in wallhaven. So they would share their ideas, observations, and opinions about specific wallpaper. :)

I just miss the Wallbase.. but Wallheaveb is not so bad at all.. It would be better If I can get pictures I want.... btw Why I can·t open some of the pitcures..I only can see the small one

I Miss the Top Wallpapers section of Wallbase. I'd go there from time to time to check what other people had been using as wallpaper, and most of the time I'd get some of them too. Please tell me you're planning into doing it (:

@Maxx234 You can't only Moderators can delete. You can only flag it so it can be deleted but i wouldn't worry it's gonna be deleted when ALPHA stage is over.

Defalt Tell me if I'm wrong, but from what I understand, only accounts will be deleted when Alpha stage is over meanwhie the wallpapers and their tags will remain. I think they will all become like this wallpaper (note the "Uploaded by": deleted). http://alpha.wallhaven.cc/wallpaper/32314

All Wallpaper's uploaded to WallHaven will all be wiped and the wallpapers from WallBase will be uploaded to WallHaven and i'm guessing all the wallpapers uploaded from WallBase will say uploaded by deleted. Also all accounts and tags will be deleted.

There's a lot of girl pics, if you ask em too much! This is not a reason I made aprofile on wallbase when it was on.

I asume every one of us likes to see a nice girl but this is too many, doubt that the most of us are here to watch the pics of the girls.

Could you at least add a "filter" about showing them, and I dont mean a "sketchy" option.

Its just that there were so many nice walls, now there arent, aldo the site was down and all the things that happend I dont think this new version is following the path of wallbase that brought him users.

I have an idea! How about, since you have the wallpapers from wallbase, you should put the wallapaper ID of wallbase equal to the wallhaven! Like this http://wallbase.cc/wallpaper/19378 Go to http://alpha.wallhaven.cc/wallpaper/19378 This way those who could not save Wallpapers, could get them now.

Would it be possible to add an option to the blacklist feature that would let us block uploads from a specific user?

Hi, loving the alpha of Wallhaven. No doubt, it'll be the best place for wallpapers. One thing i am missing the 'toplist'. There should be a option, where people can find the top wallpapers based on day, month etc. If it's possible, please add this feature. Thank you.

will there be an option to set the crop position because the default center is not always a good choice.

That feature we had in Wallbase when you could drag a image to the top of your screen to save it in the favourite folder, is it returning?

When trying to upload images on some of them an red label with "Exits" text appears. I believe it's typo, it should be "Exists".

AgEnTx19: if the extension would be that easy, go right ahead, but we have different priorities just now.

A comments-like area where people can suggest tag changes is pretty much the request system we've discussed before but would come later down the line. We already have mods that aren't on the level of admins, and we've just added a new permissions system that's more flexible anyway.

pigdog: we're looking into things like drag and drop to enhance the UI.

Areyou: this has been pointed out. I'll go through the source for typos once the site is more complete.

@老咸鱼: if you mean you get an error for some pictures, it was probably deleted for breaking a rule.

mcf1110, mpulock: a top list is on the way - we're just deciding how it'll work.

somename: I'm not sure what you mean, but you can't see everything unless things are unfiltered because the purpose of filters is to do just that.

glow: uploaders have been lazy/are still getting used to how the site works, and we're not currently enforcing things like minimum tags per image or selecting categories (partly because things are temporary, partly because it needs to actually be implemented), so there are a lot of people outside of People. We created that category so that people could filter them out straight away, whatever the purity. This'll be less of a problem as the site develops and uploaders have to be more responsible or risk bans.

NeoDrakkon: that would depend on how they're imported (whether the imported walls got given a new ID or not) but I doubt it'll happen.

Just wanted to say thank you for [re]creating this website. It's an amazing repository of wallpapers and obviously the product of quite a bit of work. Thanks for all the efforts!
