I have the tag "car" and "women" blacklisted as tags, but i still seem them pop up. How come that is?

Mabbubupu, Put each tag you want blacklisted on a new line.

Should have asked before uploading... But, If I have a wall with a soldier, is it considered "people" or can be uploaded as "general" ? Same for pics with a group of soldiers.

I just feel that the "People" filter is more for singers / actors / people in movies / porn stars / et cetera, et cetera

We have about 700 walls stuck 'uploading.' Don't forget to actually hit the complete button when you upload! Also remember to tag, flag, and pick the appropriate category!

I have few dozens of pictures that I would love to upload, the question is, since I don't know how many of those pictures are already uploaded can I upload all of them now and then later the duplicates will be somehow deleted? I have deleted all duplicates in my collection but there sure will happen to be more of them because I prob. have missed some... (this site already has a lots of pictures :D) +++ for the site!

It feels so good to have a good website to find the best wallpappers and the best staff behind the scene, but still a little bit sad that Yooton is missing. Have your hopes up and keep doing a good work as you always do! :)

@MintBIRDIE69: what were you doing when it happened?

Mabbubupu: not everything is tagged properly or at all, so the walls might still be slipping by. This should be less of a problem when uploaders are required to add tags.

kannan: if you can't determine the owner/licence, it's okay to upload them. If they have to get taken down then they will.

@kostap5: our duplicate detection isn't perfect just now and we're not moderating heavily since everything is temporary until beta, so go ahead (as long as you follow the rules!)

A world without wallbase was so dull, I didn't know what to do but this page gives me new hope!

I don't think it's a bug but infinite scroll is not infinite on my PC(neither was the wallbase.cc version of it), it eats a lot of my RAM and CPU, after ~30 pages I can notice it slowing down and after 60 it gets really annoying, today my Firefox crashed at page 100, I turned it to traditional right now, but I'm curious if it's possible to be truly endless?

It'd be great if we could open a picture straight from the list, I mean not the page with a wall, but just the file, though I don't know how many people would use it.

D4oS There's actually a way to make the infinite scrolling pages less memory hungry but I haven't looked into it so far. I will probably do so in the future, although not too soon unless more people report the same problem. Also, appart from the random page none of the listings are ever truly infinite since we have only a finite amount of wallpapers ;D

Exper Wallbase never had an official app and neither do we. Someone else may decide to write one and once we are stable enough we may support that by writing an API to help them. That is still a long time ahead though.

IE 11 keeps crashing on this site after a single page or preview of 1 image. Google chrome works fine and seems to run forever.

Not sure what's up, but I was trying to upload a popular wallpaper I made for wallbase a couple years ago.

The file appears to upload, but a red "Exits" message comes up over the image after it finishes. Clicking it opens the File Browser box. "Done!" is not clickable. Nothing shows up in my Uploads.

GarretMP, That just means that for once the shitty dupe detection actually worked! We'll probably be expanding it to also include a link to whatever wall it found.

@jonneburger There are still lots of bugs, we need better search, forums, and there's lots of cleanup under the hood to be done. Just scroll down the comments, you'll find tons of stuff we need to improve.

Jockpot we'll have some sort of throttling in place in the futur.
