Please make an option for RATIO and RESOLUTION in the profile setting . . .

I have an issue with two of my uploads, its stuck at loading on my upload page. other than that great job with the website I was so happy to know it's up and running. Umm by the way are you guys counting on adding a TOP panel like it was on Wallbase ?

Uploading sometimes dies completely, but most of the "error" times it does upload the wallpaper, just fails to inform about it ("Whoops..." page shows up)

Shitty VPS is not built to handle this sort of thing, so uploads are going to keep dying. I suggest waiting a bit between uploads, and don't try and get multiple running at once. This won't be an issue once we A: finish the upload system, and B: move off the crappy VPS.

Sweet. But can you address other mentioned issues? Like should we continue to tag/upload wallz or will they be gone once Alpha goes Beta and so forth?

crcarlsontech: we may accept donations when the site is complete, but there aren't plans for it just now.

drgrumbles: there's nothing in particular - really we'd just like people to play around to see how it works as a whole.

@greatwoohoo: if you'd like to keep your uploads, wait until at least until we go beta. If you don't mind losing what you submit just now, go ahead.

hex: this has been the case since pre-alpha. There used to be a notice on the front page about it. I'll put it back so people know what's what.

SimplyViewer and Ksx: yep, "spiritual successor" is one way we like to describe WH. We'll surely have some kind of top list once we work stats into the front end - just now, everything is just quietly being tracked behind the scenes. We'll also develop the search function to add things like an eyedropper and more versatile options with resolutions.

Bukssna: feel free to add tags, but it's not very worthwhile just now, like uploading. It's just to get a feel for the system, really. There's no need to capitalise tags on principle either, both from a grammatical and practical point of view.

visible: that kind of thing will be added once what's already in place is extended - no worries.

There is an error when i try to uppload files with the copyright. Well i guess it is pretty logical. But anyway just wanted you to know.

Hi guys. I'm here just to say that you are doing a great work. It's looking very nice, especially the toolbar. I Had some problems trying to upload a big wallpaper, but a smaller one worked well. Hope that you keep up the good work, so the internet will have another great wallpaper webpage, like was Wallbase.cc. Good luck and thank you. (Sorry if there is any error in my writing. I'm from Brazil and i'm not good in english)

DarthGijo Glad to hear you're enjoying it! How large was this wallpaper you tried to upload? Our current file size limit is 10MB.

@T7025 You're free to upload whatever you want. Though we will be starting fresh after the current alpha phase. We should be able to expand the current filters to include a more complete list by then as well.

Hi, I read about starting a fresh does that also include users?

Teriffy: yes, unless it's different than the last wipe, users will be lost too.

There is a bug when you click in the "toogle privacy" icon on your favorites... it displays some sort of code in the screen... {"status":true}

Yeros I should have an update ready for sometime this week that will "fix" that. It will be more of a bandaid than anything else until we finish up that part of the site.

Teriffy, cfunk I know it will suck to have to start again once this alpha is over, but you're just going to have to trust me it will be for the better.

We still have a ton to do before that though. Since we're planning on rolling out of beta to live, we want to make sure the beta is as close to what we want as possible.

First of all, beautiful site. Waiting for the release. Secondly, your "search-sorting" seems to be missing something in its CSS code, as it lacks, err, style. And will the release purge also delete accounts, or only wallpapers?
