I really like the way this site is looking so far! I would like to see the exact replica of Wallbase! I mean we can just go on with our recommendations on how this should look, but I think we all agree that we want to have the site exactly the same as Wallbase! I think WB was just perfect and would like to see all the same features!

Getting "Whoops, looks like something went wrong." when I try to change SFW/Sketchy/NSFW

all i want now is to open new window when i click image not in the same window , and when i put image in fav. not to open favorite every time ^_^ Good Work .....

I trashed one of my collections with 2 images in it, now I have -2 favourites, it said 0 after the last update,.I don't know how to help, feels like I'm stating the obvious.

Not sure if someones mentioned this yet or not :

1 - When browse settings are set to thumbnailSize->Original only the resolution is an anchor link, whereas when thumbnailSize->Small the entire thumbnail is an anchor.

2 - Resolution filtering throws an error.

About opening links in new tabs/windows: It's not just bad for SEO to use target=_blank, it's also a very bad idea to force this behaviour on users. Not everybody wants to have links opened that way but by using this we'd force it on them. On the other hand every browser offers multiple ways to open links in new tabs. You'll just have to learn how to use basic features of your browser. That being said, we plan on adding a (non-default) user setting to enable links being opened in new tabs.

kwazap since stats are a new feature the stats on the alpha site are now completely jumbled up. it'll get fixed with the database reset

Bukssna: From the beginning we decided we weren't just simply going to clone WB. It was great but flawed enough that we knew we were going to take a different direction. At least IMO it's pretty close anyway, but I suppose we'll have to see as things progress.

Blackcells: I've not heard from the devs about it but we might not get a search function here - it depends on how long it takes to get a forum up. Multiple uploads will be available when we go public beta or launch officially - a good side effect of single files only just now means that we don't have the admin work to do, which we can't anyway without full tools. Things like moving faves and dynamic zoom will be added as soon as we get around to expanding the functions we're putting in place.

Love all of the hard work put into the site. It's really starting to shape up. I'm glad you guys are making your own site the way you want to instead of just carbon copying wallbase.

Strange, error seems to have gone away when using the Resolution Filter.

That is a horrible idea. Wallbase was buggy as hell, lots of things needed fixing. It is better to start fresh with the code.

Oh, and it is illegal. :)

lurker We'll probably get a bug/issue tracker up public once we get further along. For the most part, we're aware of what bugs and issues we have (a ton!).

I don't know whether this was mentioned or not, but on Chrome (v34) adding tags goes noticeably longer and the menu icons work a bit "clumsy". On Firefox (v29b) all is smooth and fast. Just saying.

Glad to see everything up and running smoothly (for an alpha at least). I'm hoping that Wallhaven will rekindle the old love of wallpapers that it's spiritual predecessor did so well.

website is working perfectly from how ive been using it, but would be to be a little bit more helpful unless you have caught everything so far.

Oh man, is this for real? All wallpapers will be wiped out? I've uploaded 200+ giving every one ~5 tags, one by one... and it all was for nothing? xD PIty I didn't see info about not uploading stuff in alpha version or might have I missed it somehow. Oh well. :)

In the spirit of posting bugs, I've found a couple of images that don't seem to load properly when you navigate to their page (http://alpha.wallhaven.cc/wallpaper/####). 1076, 1126, and 1134 all give a "Whoops, looks like something went wrong," whereas for image 1125 the page will load but the image section will be empty.

The errors above have been occured every attempt both today and yesterday, so I'm thinking that they aren't one off errors.

Also, I was curious, when you move off of the VPS were you planning on implementing any for of ssl support?

This website is looking soooo good. I haven't browsed around extensively, but from my casual use I haven't had any issues.

I could be wrong, but I read that this site is a spiritual successor of sorts to wallbase, right? Any plans on bringing the toplist option over here? The "Latest" section is great, but I like to see the most popular images over the past few days or weeks, as opposed to the newest ones.

Also, wallbase has an option to search resolutions to "At least" the specified amount. Any plans on bringing that too? I have a 2k computer screen, so searching bigger images is a must, but I don't want to limit myself to a specific resolution. Just something 2560 x 1600 or greater.

I realize this site is still in Alpha, and it's definitely the smoothest alpha of anything I've ever tried. I didn't know anything about future features, so just wanted to leave some feedback and thank everyone for the hard work! Keep it up!

Just wondering should we be adding tags since the beta is gonna be all restarted? Are you gonna keep the tags from alpha and just move them to beta, or start from scratch? Also, would recommend all tags to be properly capitalized! It's something that really annoys me when it's not! lol

"Capitalise proper nouns (people, places, titles) according to the official spelling (The Lord of the Rings). Titles of foreign creative works should be in English unless there is no official equivalent." - not ALL tags. If this annoys you, you're gonna have a bad day.

Didn't see the rulebook! Well shit, guess I'm gonna have a hard time! (Still would like that changed tho!)
