I was using stumbleupon today, and your site came up for one of the pages. And you aren't even launched yet!

I am glad i found this page since wallbase is down i did not know were to gett my wallpapers. Even though some may said that before it would be nice if the login function could be on the main page of wallhaven, that would make it more easy. a mobile app for windows android... would be nice, or even a mobile site, right now i can't open pictures on my mobile device with windows phone 8.1 it cant even load the preview of all pictures. also the buttons (sfw sketchy nfsw) are not klickable. Thank you for your fast work on this website. Im looking forward do tonnes of picutres. LG Mrofd

to block idiots who post tons of stupid shit, like 10 pages of cars for example, so their wallps dont appear in my feed. Pls, pls, pls.

theres a buggy white field covering the majority of the screen when I browse the wallpapers on my iPhone 6. I use google chrome but only notice this issue whilst on the iPhone. Can provide pictures if you'd like.

People are actually uploading weird ads that are hard to imagine to anyone putting those as their wallpaper.

2) Please read the about page again. We had no access to the server. the only person who had access was Yotoon and he disappeared, so there was nothing we could do. We have however scraped the site and have about 1,6mil wallpapers ready to be uploaded once we get to Beta status.

The site is nearly perfect. The only missing feature for me is the ability to find "similar" pictures or "identical" pictures in different sizes. But already now, it could exit alpha and get to beta stage. Well done!!

I agree with Jesterhead, those wallpapers from Malailo are wrong here. I cant imagine, somebody like them as wallpaper.

btw this website is awesome, many settings for personalize the search, in my optinion. Filtering by category, purity and a nice blacklist.

Thanks for the support, guys. There are some mischievous users about but we've been getting good uploads.

AgEnTx19: it's complete from the time it was made, around the new year. We got 1.6m walls then, but the thing is, when I started in Dec (before letting another guy with a better connection do it) my scraper found 1.89m total. The marked for deletion mess lost a lot of them.

@personalstuff, mrofd: WB never had an official app and it was (mostly) finished. It'll be a while before WH gets one and it'll probably be independent, and Prenze a mobile version of the site is also a long way off.

@ShiversTheNinja: we'll be importing the majority of WB's walls once we reach beta.

Kaibutsu: cars are not against the rules, I'm afraid. You can use the blacklist feature in your user settings (assuming the walls are tagged properly).

@laurensmu: we actually have a similar proportion of sketchy/NSFW content just now as WB did - they just might be appearing in the wrong places because of poor organising, which will be less of a problem in the future. Please keep in mind that our policy is very much a compromise and that some folks think we're too restrictive about porn. As for browsing the internet in public... always risky business.

Jesterhead, drake1988: our rules aren't based on what any given person would want on their desktop - the WB crowd is a diverse bunch - but jailbait is against the rules, so I'll take a look at that guy's uploads.

degiovab: we have an imperfect grouping system for identical walls in different sizes and will add some kind of "related" feature eventually.

I'm not saying that cars are against rules, it's just too bad when i have to scroll 10-15 pages to leave them behind and to find GOOD walps.

Can't we just have a button to ignore ALL walps of a user? So that person's uploads don't appear in my feed at all?

Or autotag users's username to all his upload, so ppl can block them by adding it to the blacklist.

One bug I've noticed: When you go to the Uploads section of any user, the buttons are not responding to the purity change. If for example, I select NSFW, the icon is not highlighted.

Also, can you add purity select to the "There's nothing here..." message? Right now i have to use the back button and select the purity again (it would be 1 action istead of 2, no big deal).

Tag ordering (alpha.wallhaven.cc/tags) needs some optimizations. "Most tagged" and "Popular" spits out 502 error or it doesnt load at all.

Hi guys, I've noticed something in my profile. The uploaded images count is 11, but there's already 12 uploaded wallpapers by me, is it a little bug, or It's just normal? Anyway, Wallhaven is a great successor of Wallbase, keep up the good work!

Hi, that website is really great for now and i'm looking forward to see it in beta. Thanks to everybody involved.

Some thoughts:

• i like to browse the site by latest wallpapers, but i'm disturbed by the fact i can't easily find the last page that i saw because of the new uploads. Could you make start the page counter from the end? By that means, the wallpapers would never change of page. Instead of having page 1/745, it would be page 745/745, and after that next uploads start from the page 746, 747... etc.

• i have noticed that i have upload errors on big files, what is the file size limit? I know it's not affordable to get the same bandwidth that flicker, but within the bounds of possibilities, it would be nice to be able to upload high resolution pics.
