Hi, Thanks for the most awsome site on the internet. It is no end to the amount of time you can spend on this site. But i hope the tab function will be in the next release, when viewing a wallpaper it opens in a new tab. Thanks!!!

kotborealis: What tag are you trying to add?

ch1n: that feature has already been implemented a while ago. check your settings.

    Hello,

I would like to change the category of this picture for "Anime".

    How do i? :/

    (Sorry, i am french)

  • 1101

@lightningreturns You can't, currently only mods can do that. I changed it.

@adibalwani03 Well, wallhaven isn't really related to the hoverZoom plugin. I made the extension for it to work with wallhaven, but can't imagine why that happens, maybe its a hoverZoom bug with loading several big images

Oh my gawd, Gandalf, don't you ignore me please. I'm upset.

  • 1108

@dwemer, you hit the character limit for that field. We'll see about increasing it.

  • 1109

AksumkA, why do we need this limit? I mean, why 29?

  • 1110

@dwemer, It's not a 29 items type of limit. It's an overall character limit (255). This was something I set on the database side. It shouldn't be a huge deal to fix this to allow for more characters.

Providing nothing goes wrong, expect a fix in the next update.

I would really like a button which put the image in a queue. rightklick/saving as/enter, every time i download a image ist tiring.

Maybe the pictures in the queue could be compressed in a .rar archive to save bandwidth.

If some similiar picture slip through your finding program, in a queue, they could be simply compaired and marked for deletion.

Nosing: we'll have a section for untagged walls. #tagme and the like are redundant.

TenSoon: we're in the process of implementing iqdb.

lordschnarchy: interesting idea there, but I doubt we we'd have time to consider for a while. Compressing large user downloads might save bandwidth, but it would require more processor time on the server side.

Great work guy's keep it up, I love this site and ever since Wallbase has gone this is my come to place now.

  • 1115

Also I don't know if this has been sugested before, but I would like to see a forum of some kind here so we the community members can socialize with each other more.

  • 1116

Yes, forums are planned. It is even listed on the 'under development' page, which is linked right under the comment box.

lordschnarchy Compressing single images in an archive would gain almost nothing, since most wallpapers are .jpg files which are already compressed. Also a download queue doesn't really make sense since you have already downloaded the wallpaper by the time you are viewing it. You only need to copy it from your browser's cache to some folder, which is what you do when you click 'save as'.

We could add a button to open the 'save as' dialog directly, though I'm not sure that's really necessary. If you want to save a lot of wallpapers, you can speed up the context menu process significantly by using keyboard shortcuts.

We might (!) at some point in the future add the possibility to download a whole collection as an archive. If we do that however, it will have some serious restrictions since it'll be quite heavy on the server.

Gandalf I think that a download queue would be useful while viewing the thumbnails. This way I can download a whole set of images right from the thumnails and then check how they look on my monitor.
