I was so silly. I didn't read the text..:( I upload more than 600 photo, and after that I recognise, they will delet, all photos at the and of Alpha. Is it true?

Csuri Yeah all accounts, tags and wallpapers will be deleted after alpha stage, because they are uploading all wallpapers from wall base to wall haven. Testing to see if there is any problems with the site. no eta when alpha will end tho.

webs0r: the search function will have things like custom res eventually.

Chloras: it depends if you don't mind starting over with these things. It would be good if uploaders sorted things properly, just like the staff are moderating so that people know how things are intended to be.

cometangel: we don't have an official, solid roadmap. The forum is high up on the list of priorities, and with that there'll be places for change logs and such.

@rickodermcq: yes, the top list will be the "most popular" section. Until then, you can search by number of favourites.

Csuri, Defalt: the reason isn't because we're importing WB's archive. Alpha and beta are for testing, which means things like duplicate walls and various problems with tags, so we decided it would be easiest just to start over.

Hi there, I haven't read all of the comments, but there seems to be an issue crashing the page when I mouse over the top left buttons too quickly. I move my mouse back and forth over them and get a page crash on chrome. I think it has to do with the zoom in/out animations.

If this is a repeated report, feel free to ignore it ^_^

when using Google chrome, and the stumble upon extension, the wallpapers come up as a tiny thumbnail

when looking at an upload page for example : http://alpha.wallhaven.cc/user/Csuri/uploads (yes so all those wallpapers weren't for nothing :p)

I have a problem arising around page 5~6 SOME wallpaper thumbnails begin disappearing (not all but it's pretty obvious) moving the mouse over walls or scrolling makes them appear & disappear intermittently

please note that I have not met such issue in regular search

clicking on any of those disappearing thumbnails works fine this issue survives on restart browser

this issue does not happen on IE9 but happens on FF 30 maybe I should update ^^ or maybe it's because of plugins I'm not sure if there's any safemode start without altering my profile

whismerhill Weird, never seen that. I can't think of any reason why this should happen other then performance issues. Or weird FF plugins, of course. ^^

Every time I open a wallpaper and then click the back button it returns to the beginning of the search. This is very annoying when I'm on page 40 of a search and have to scroll all the way back to where I was every time I open a wallpaper. Please fix.

well I found out you can start FF in safemode just by holding shift while starting it in safemode there's no more issues sorry for the trouble

slave953894609: this is a limitation of infinite scrolling. The solution is either to open walls in new tabs (middle mouse button/left and right simultaneously on laptops), or change your browsing setting to traditional so that your position is saved.

LPT: The opening of wallpapers in a new window is changable in your account settings. Settings>Browsing>Open Thumbs in... (select new tab)

While your in there you can set your thumbs to 64 per page if you connection allows.

DONT FORGET TO CLICK UPDATE AT THE BOTTOM

LOL I was scratching my head for a long time safemode FF 30 => works disabled plugins => doesn't work new browsing session => doesn't work firefox reset => doesn't work

and beware ... in the end an update to FF 33 fixed it xD I seriously don't know why FF 30 safemode was working ...

Alright, it's been over a month so I figured now was a good enough time as any to push an update.

• Tags listing now supports partial searches. Lowered tags per page from 100 to 50
• User Messages: Users can now reply to messages
• Account Recovery: Accounts with forgotten passwords can be recovered
• Cache: Most interaction should be faster. Notifications (subscriptions, user messages) are updated every 5 minutes
• Upload rules: Users must agree to uploading rules before uploading
• Purity selectors and counts always show in user's uploads and collections. Also updated to use current settings
• Updated the under development page
• Tons of backend changes, fixes, and improvements
• Bugfixes!
• New bugs!

Poke around and let us know how the site's speed is doing. We're hoping this update will help a ton with that. Expect a few new bugs and for a bit here. I got antsy :P

Hi to everyone. I really love this site, it's amazing. But I'm here to talk about something specific, that is the design of the home page. I' really love it, it's way better than the design of the others parts of wallhaven.cc I understand that the site was developed to be the successor of wallbase, so it's normal for wallhaven to have a similar design. but I think that you guys should invest in the homepage design to make it the wallhaven design, 'cause it's awesome, really well, thats all folks, thank you for the ones that have read till here, my post i's kinda large but i had to say it, because a really like the homepage design

DarthGijo Glad you like the homepage ^^ The most important difference is really the background and obviously we'll want to keep a neutral color (grey) for the rest of the site.

Otherwise, I'm thinking about ways to bring more simplicity/elegance to the rest of the site in the future. At the moment there is still lots of stuff that has a sort of make shift feel to it (mostly because the design actually still is make shift in a lot of places).

So yeah, expect some improvements in the future though it's probably never gonna "look like" the homepage.

When i reset my favourite counter to zero and then started added wallpapers to favourite again the counter was broken. http://scr.hu/2p3w/yhzu0

Hello, i'm on a MacBook with Google Chrome and i haven't the icon Lastes, Random, Upload, Favorites, Settings etc ... i have it on Safari and other.

Otherwise good job for this site .

I noticed that every profile has the same cover picture (same as mine). Can someone confirm that? And also every time i refresh the "latest" page, it automatically reverse the order from oldest to newest pictures.
