okay , atleast i didnt miss the option for it :) i understand the problem with abusing but the result are wrongly categorized wallpapers , unless someone checks every wallpaper if its inside the right category

dont know which problem is the worse one , categories that dont work so properly as you cant resort them even as the uploader or the abuse, but its your decision i will have to stick to your decision as i still love this site no matter what will happen :D

Asses everywhere

Untagged asses, wrong category asses, is this a pornsite? I can't wait for strong minimum tags. And it MUST be at least two, because it's impossible to add in my blacklist EVERY f***ing model name. what is this i dont even

People, is it TOO hard for you to add to your wallpaper some COMMON tags? Like, I don't know, 'football' or 'models' or 'marvel'/'dc'? "Of course it is. We are all cursed, so if we add something more than, for example 'Another-Very-Unpopular-Hipster-Movie-Name' we will die immediately."

Why don't just delete these always-wrong categories and instead use tags 'anime' and 'people'? I don't understand

Why don't you try to find EXISTING tag instead of instantly creating your own? Because of this, we now have many identical tags like 'ME' = 'Mass Effect', 'dog' = 'dogs', 'Batman' = 'The Batman' and other shit.

It's not always showing me the "Edit" button under my comment. I don't know is this a bug or feature.

I know you are tired of me, but it would be AWESOME to program a possibility to add tags in blacklist just by clicking on them on a thumbnail while you are browsing.

Ortw1n: use the blacklist feature to block cars. We know some car walls aren't tagged, but this'll be less of a problem later when uploads have a minimum tag requirement. We have no plans for new categories.

edd2k: because not everyone wants to see non-SFW covers.

@outlander0088: we might accept donations eventually, but we feel it's not right just now for an unfinished "product". I imagine we'll change server host and try out minimal ads and see how that works. We appreciate it nonetheless.

megaflaresss: if you've scrolled down several dozen pages, you'll eventually encounter slowdown purely because of the content the page will have at that point. I think it was improved a while back, but it's a limitation we can only really optimise around.

EstebanMitnick: no ETA on the end of alpha - the roadmap is unpredictable.

@dwemer: next time, just make one comment. As always, no, this is not a porn site, if you'll forgive appearances. I'll recommend prioritising minimum tags to the devs, since we'll be in alpha awhile, and suggest a "blacklist from tag page" function. Content categories are to divide content in broad strokes - users can't simply blacklist anime and expect to hide all anime content. I'm afraid that a) the tagging system is a WIP and b) people are stupid, and tags make them stupider. There's a time limit on editing comments.

just a quick question as i saw that you can upload gif files as an avatar. animated avatars aint possible or are they ?

I was looking at my profile and it looks like i accidentally a wallpaper but i am pretty sure i didn't mean too. Is there anyway i can go back and review the wallpaper I flagged? because i don't know which one it could have been.

Any plans on implementing a search for landscape vs portrait? With phones having HD screens, and being used mainly in portrait mode, it would be nice to be able to search for them quickly, or in this case, at all.

@ballista We have a backup of all the wallpapers from wallbase, which we are going to add to our database once we reach beta. Since we still have a lot to do until then you are more then welcome to upload as much as you like and so help us test the site, find bugs and optimize performance.

so its not the first time i heard about that to happen, will you guys maybe implement an option so you can download all pictures of your fav list with one click ?

Not sure if this is the right place. I am uploading 10 at a time. I am trying to use a common tag on all 10 at once. I seem to be getting double tags (women) when I do this. Also If I tag all 10 at once and add women too all, then select just one to add more tags it doesn't show (women) tag Under common tags. This could also lead to double tags.

I have also just noticed tagging under pending upload is very slow. I added a couple tags then went to the wallpaper after it was uploaded. On that page tagging was very fast, almost easier.

Which programm do you use for create wallpapers?

I use "Gimp" but perhaps you know a better programm. ;)

so all wallpapers will get deleted when wallhaven goes live? when aprox will it be?

Juggl0r: not sure - try it if you dare. As for downloading all your faves in one go, we have server considerations to make, so as we've said before, if you want to keep it then download it.

Opulex: I can't find any walls reported by you. Do you mean you changed the purity or something?

valerinism: the search system is getting redone and will include things like custom resolutions, i.e. make things easier for mobile users.

Mavanis: this sometimes happens when the site doesn't realise the wall already has that tag. If it's still the case after a little while, message me with the walls in question.

slow64: check out the links in the note. We don't have anything more approximate than "sometime next year". As above, save what you want to keep.

cfunk: I may have if that falls under the "Wallpapers Flagged" category, but when and if i had done that would it not alert me that i was trying to make a change? (and by the way i have just reported a duplicate so one would show up if you were to look again).

is "Latest" the permanent section of Wallpaper? Because I think "Toplist" like in the old one is better. Just giving an opinion here. Thanks.
