Banning AI Art

Hi, I'm not an artistic content creator, but I'd like to propose something: how about creating a list of trending tags? This could go in the general wallpaper section. We could also send notifications to those who upload their art, showing them the trending tags along with a few wallpapers, to boost artists' creativity, It's similar to what Pinterest does with notifications in its app.

It already had a special tag and was unselected by default so no one got to see it unless actively seeking it out. No 'AI slop' but plenty of human slop. Some of the 'art' on here is terrible.

First post ever for me just to say that this is the right choice. People thinking that AI "art" is good are just delusional, moreover AI just steal human work and it's unethical to its root. There are jobs where AI is really needed and can produce good things for human behings but art is absolutely not one of these fields. I totally approve.

I literally never post on any website, but I had to say, thank you for supporting real art instead of shitty AI images. For every comment trying to defend AI I'm happy they lost a place where to be lazy assholes.

I mean stuff you shared aren't good, its alright at best. AI barely mimics real artists and not even good at it, what its good at is its speed, as it can generate mediocre stuff quickly.

Cope harder. Real artists haven't come close to this level of quality in the past 30 years. Also yes, there's even better AI art out there. A lot of it. Even the best artists can't get shading right the way AI can. You really want to die on the hill that this couldn't be a great wallpaper? Or that this and this is mediocre art? People have eyes. Real artists couldn't create art on this level in the past 30 years and they can't now. I've been into anime & waifu art for a long time. I know. But more importantly, anyone with eyes can see.
