Wassup, thx for stopping by. I'm usually kinda bored. I don't upload, I just wanna tag, organize and stop ppl from doing bad stuff. If you wanna help a bit in your free time or when you're bored, thanks for making the site better! PLEASE don't sub to me, it's pointless. :\

sorry, but this function is really suck. omg, I thought that can filter tags
Sagittarius32 It sucks? You're not the only one to think about the fliter thing, but I don't see your view in this system sucking, it's straightforward.
OMG, I am so, so very sorry. First and foremost, I am guilty. That was definitely me. There I was thinking it was an ideal way to to refine a search, ie whenever I clicked on find similar, it would often show very little, if anything at all. But remove a few of those tags, and voila, more photos appeared. I did not stop to think, that it would also affect the actual poster of the wallhaven picture, or for that matter, any one else viewing the picture. I really do hope I have not caused too much damage to the site, the original poster, and indeed anyone else viewing the image. I now see what I did as a very apparent act of stupidity. Once again, I truly am sorry. And I do sincerely apologize. I can only really request that the site admins, please review my logins over the last week. Although a member for 4 years now, I had only just very recently rediscovered wallhaven after a very lengthy absence. The logs will show this, and hopefully also show where any damage caused by myself randomly removing tags has occurred.
artfultjezza All good, if you want to search for images that are like another image, you can type keywords in the search bar. Something like, "bar table low light", in the search makes it more easy to find images "just like this" imo. Assuming the image has been tagged with the appropriate tags.
Wow - all this time I thought when I removed tags, I was only adjusting them for my own view unless a moderator confirmed the changes for the general community. From the comments below, I can see that I'm not the only one who thought this. I would recommend doing something to make it more clear that changing tags affects everyone right away. This could be more visible / obvious.
chronotrigger77 Hi. That thing you thought of, confirming changes would be a lot of work. It's easier to let anyone do anything, as long as it's positive for the site. What suggestion to make it more clear? I'm usually the one giving warning and making sure people know. Albeit, they could just read the rules, but not many people read the rules/terms of a website at the beginning before doing anything... I didn't either when I first got here.
Also, to answer the 2 DMs you sent me, I wasn't sure you removed valid tags, which is why I put "I'm not sure if that's the correct girl name or not" after my message. I see an unfamiliar username and just kind of "assume" they're removing valid tags unless I'm proven wrong sometimes. Also sure, I'll DM you instead if I message you about anything in the future.
Trevbloom Thanks for the reply. Yes, I'm recommending a clearer message that tag removal affects everyone. Not buried in rules, but at the "point of action" where it would be hard to miss. It could be right under the tags on any given item, or shown in a pop-up when you select a tag to remove. This would go a long way to reducing tag removal by people who thought they were changing the tags only for themselves. Naturally, a way to makes notes about why a tag should be removed, as well as an approval system would be much better, but yes, also much more work!
I missed the part of your message that said "I'm not sure if that's the correct girl name or not". In this case, I removed a name from a group of images because it was clearly not the same person as the vast majority of the rest of the images tagged with that name. In that sense, I felt the tag was misleading/accidental. I suppose technically, the two people could share the exact same name, but I think it's more likely that they were just mis-tagged in the first place - probably because of false info elsewhere on the internet where the images were found to begin with.
Curating a quality tagging system is hard! Just know that many of us are here to help, even if we haven't interacted yet :-)
chronotrigger77 I'll ask about making it more clear if the site is ever updated. Someone else asked for a approval system too, I don't like that idea but if any of the developpers says anything about it that's positive, sure. Thanks for helping out a bit in that case!
不小心手滑去掉标签了,不是故意的
hhqqqq All good, thanks.
为什么删除标签会影响所以用户,我不理解这个设定。
hhqqqq Because this is a community site. Everyone can change purity of a wallpaper and add tags since the uploader or someone else adding tags might miss somethings, or not know what something is.
sorry i didn't known tag removal affects all the users
wait, when ı remove tags ıts effects everyone who sees it?
lasufyyy yessir! This is a community site, users can effect others' walls unless they're banned or we lock options on the post.
Trevbloom sorry man my bad, i wish at least there is warning or something, ım sure when ı sıgn up , website told me thiss with the rules but sorry man ım to lazy to read all these
Like others have said here, I didn't know tag removal affects everyone. Apologies.
no point in replying now.
why am i banned from uploading man? i posted 2 wallpaper each one separately and i can say that there isnt any wrong tag in the wallpaper i uploaded after you WARNING... you can verify as well
Trevbloom what? can you tell me any wrong tag in my last two posts? because the last two posts are after you given me the warning
