    Hey Guys,

Newbie here with a really basic question. How do you download wallpapers from this site? This is a site where people visit and expect to download images to use as wallpapers on their computers, right? Is there a magic word or spell? There are no download buttons on the images, no instructions on how to use the site, nothing. I searched everywhere on the main page including trying searching for instructions. Yes, I am computer illiterate. Yes, I need help. Please.

    TIA for any help.

Step 1: Click on the image you would like to download.

Step 2: Look at the bottom left corner of your screen and click on "Crop & Scale Download."

Finally, ensure that you select the appropriate size for your computer.

Or, simply drag/drop to the folder of your choosing. Keep in mind that you get the full resolution image this way, but you can always crop it afterwards.

This way, you have to click the thumbnail first, to open the image page and then you can drag/drop from here.

If you use the "Crop & Scale Download" tool it will convert the image to PNG. If you want to download the original, just right-click and save like an ordinary browser image.

Or can use one of the many apps that integrate with wallhaven

    For linux Variety works beautifully

For windows (and soon mac) Spice shameless plug

For my app Spice, you can start curating your favorites into collections and have them cycle through your PC background. After installing Spice, when you see a wallpaper you like, from the tray icon select "Image Source", which takes you to wallhaven allowing you to "Add to Favorites" via a button, assuming you have are signed in of course. Simply cut and paste the URL of your collections into Spice and it can start cycling through it.

    Enjoy!

    IMPORTANT

For those that are using Spice after reading this thread, I dropped a new release to fix the issue that when Spice is set to start with Windows, the system tray menu items are repeated.

This bug was caused by upgrading the underlying application framework Fyne from 2.5.5 to 2.6.0. I have now reverted that change and created a new version v0.4.9.

You can download it here: https://github.com/dixieflatline76/Spice/releases
