I discovered Wallhaven through a plugin for the KDE Plasma Desktop Environment on Linux Debian. But it doesn't seem to be working, because I configure the API key, and it returns an error. Does anyone know how to solve this problem, or how I should configure it correctly?

Maybe you should ask the plugin's developer. The plugin probably has a GitHub page where you can open an issue.

Just use variety work fine and can use wallhaven API key.
