This site is awesome!, so glad I found it. I connected to the wallbase IRC, in search of uploading privileges. Turns out my favorite wallpaper source is dead[ish?], lucky this exists!, thanks guys! loving it.

whismerhill: I think he was talking about the beta feature on Wallbase that streamed new uploads as they were added. I'm sure the devs here would like to toy with the idea in the future...

What3ver: the site is live, just incomplete, and we're on a dedicated server now. We're looking forward for the databases to be permanent too, but beta isn't set to launch until we have at least multi-uploading and ideally the forum too, but they're both tough nuts.

Can someone tell me when you think multi upload is gonna be available?

easline next update will bring multi upload, but there are still some bugs we need to take care of before it can be used.

Good news is we just totally disabled the single upload form in development! Getting really close to having this thing working!

Hi, I was wondering if a dev could answer a somewhat dumb question for me.

Basically the wallbase.cc search box style, with the blinking cursor and the smooth fade in of letters, is one of my favorite text input stylings I've ever seen. I've looked around to see if there was a simple javascript or jquery implementation, but I haven't been able to find anything quickly. I was wondering if anybody knew any details on how to implement that. Thanks!

ewic, I remembered someone asking about this on reddit about seven months ago. It actually is just a jquery plugin.

This website is great, can't belive the effort that must have been put into all this work. To make it feel so "wallbase'ish", even thought that was the plan to begin with. Whoever made this has my thanks. Good job!

The website is awesome as-is right now. I know there must be a lot of stuff to iron out, and I thank you guys for all the awesome work you've been doing. But I am really bored and tired of having to visit 'alpha.wallhaven.cc' when the main website remains the same 'we will inform you soon' page from months.

In the current form itself, the website would be appreciate by the layman.

LWTBP It's not about how it looks but how stable the database is. Once we reset for beta we want to be sure that none of the new data will get obsolete again. We're still playing around with some things but it'll be done soon enough. :)

I have 1,700 walls uploaded, just to see them vaporize when Beta sets in. I have no life....

On the bright side it will be so much easier with multi-upload.

Will there be a MAX number of walls able to upload at once? If so please make the number to be at least 100.
