It would be very awesome to use an API to retrieve wallpapers and let users upload them with other services than this cool page, will make things easier for developers!

    Aemony

I am well aware of the rules, I was merely replying to AksumkA about why panty and stocking might be merged together. But thanks for re-posting the rules so everyone can see them.

Just wondering if you guys have an update on when the beta would be launching? Even an approximated guess?

  • 448

Aemony button color: I'll check it out.

cgrs api: I have a few ideas but if we go ahead and offer an api we'll need to add some restrictions to it to prevent flooding.

Bukssna beta: nope, no deadline yet. We wanna do it right so we can't throw around promisses.

The Alpha tag in the lower right corner has a different font or letter style during the (un)hover effect transition than otherwise. The bug is reproducible in both Firefox and Chrome, but the difference is more visible in Chrome with misaligned letters while a transition isn't in progress.

Aemony Just… no? Can't reproduce that anywhere and there is also no reason for that to happen. Could just be some rendering glitches due to low graphics?

  • 451

Are you planning on reducing the minimal size of the wallpaper to 800x600 like on wallbase? because a got a lot of wallpapers that are under the limit which is bothering me

  • 452

    Angelo343

Don't plan on it. We're aiming for a bit higher standards of quality over wallbase.

  • 453

well i've seen large wallpapers that looked shit and fairly small one really gorgeous, so I don't think that the amout of pixels changes anything it's more how it was made that makes the differ (my opinion)

  • 454

When the shit is this mother fucker coming out of alpha, bitch?

    (joke)

Brokenvegetable: Fictional Characters is the kind of place we'd put Optimus Prime and the like.

Angelo343: walls of any size that are low quality would get removed eventually. High resolution of course doesn't equal high quality, but as this is a wallpaper site, we're working with certain display standards, and we decided 800x600 isn't suitable.

Soon, soon. Good news is, we've started work on multi-upload. So you'll have that to look forward to soon at least!

  • 459

Not acting like I'm eager to contribute a lot, but had you guys thought about open sourcing the project?

In this picture http://alpha.wallhaven.cc/wallpaper/6315 I added a new tag camel toes. Question #1 - you know what I mean. How to distinguish it from a hypothetical tag indicating the animal part vs. this one (the female body feature)? Question #2 - I have no idea where the correct place for that tag should be. People? Misc? People-->Body Parts?

  • 462

hhman There isn't really a category for stuff like that (yet), so just put it in miscelanious. Also, since what the 'term' describes is really more of a concept I'd probably put it in singular. You can add a clarification in brackets, if the tag is ambiguous, as stated in the rules. In this case however there's not really much use to it since I doubt anybody needs a tag for the actual animal's feet.

  • 463

hhman: I've been putting tags for body parts and such just in People, and like Gandalf said, I wouldn't worry about it being ambiguous.

  • 465

boonimajneB I did not expect a reversal of rule 34 to turn up that quickly. xD

  • 467

Angelo343 honestly when I see a beautiful pic in 1024x768 or below I'm displeased because it's too low res to be useful for anything for me

just my opinion, for what it's worth

Brokenvegetable Just makin sure, you are aware we are gonna wipe the database once we leave alpha? Even though all the testing data is highly appreciated.
