Search could use some improvements

Okay, what led me to making this thread directly is that I tried to search if there's anything with this model: https://alpha.wallhaven.cc/tag/61543 with "caramel", and somehow neither the tag nor none of her wallpapers showed up.

I had also done an image search with one of the pictures from the set (which is all in a very similar colour palette), and got planets and galaxies, but not a single girl in a brown-ish decorated room. I was a little bit bewildered when then one of my uploads got a 100% match.

Anyway, I thought this would be a good excuse to bring up some other things about search:

    • searching for multiple tags at once and excluding tags (e.g. 'sea + sunlight + beach - women' if you just want a plain sunny beach landscape) - is that planned?
    • a dropdown showing suggested tags as you type, similar as when uploading?
    • I'm 99% sure that searching with "random" repeats the same results on later pages, which kind of misses the point. I thought that it arranges the results randomly in advance?

    Just some suggestions and ideas.

You have to search by the entire tag, so that would be > "Caramel (Met-Art Model)"

another option you have is to search by id. If you go to the tag page you'll find the id at the end of the URL. In this case the URL is > https://alpha.wallhaven.cc/tag/61543

so the id is > 61543

what you do next is search for > id:61543

You can tell these methods work because on the tag page it says there's 65 images tagged with that tag and on the search result page it says 65 images found.
