Third one is indeed an upscaled low-res wallpaper, and a low-quality edit (change of hue). Definitely report the third.

Is the First wall not very pixelated in some areas, like Upscaled ? Maybe i looked to long on the second Wall, he he...

It doesn't seem to me. The third wall is a great example of upscaling. Though if you really believe first one's upscaled, report it.

That's not a reason to report a wallpaper. Just go through the rules one by one. If you have a reasonable doubt that the wallpaper violates one of them, report it. Not liking a wallpaper isn't a reason to report it. You ever wondered why tags like #nice, #ugly, #beautiful aren't allowed?

Report whatever you think violates our rules / quality standards. Within reason, of course.

In this case the first one isn't upscaled, those weird irregularities look like they were intentionally added. It's a grunge texture overlay. Otherwise it'd be blockier.

The second one is apparently "glitch art", I've seen a few of those before. I guess it's a taste thing. It's not mine but it's also not really "low quality" since it really is supposed to look like that (and probably not just due to lack of skill).

Meanwhile that third one was just low quality or a low effort edit or both.

Yes they do. It will burn your Eyes and let your Brain melt, but yes, they have the same right to be here, like...spread P**** walls, as long as they are from technically standards okay. Just my opinion.

But in reality anyone who uses this as a Wallpaper has some truly horrible problems and should get medication and a 6 month stay in a mental Hospital....

I know, they were just a rhetorical questions. And probably a colorblind person or a true masochist would use it as a wallpaper so yes they should stay here :-)

the red gradient one is pixelated indeed, though depending on screen color settings, it won't show... though it could be an artistic choice, although I see nothing artisitic about this wall xD as long as we don't get 9999999 gradient wallpapers around I'm fine with them

If you are posting a wallpaper here for consideration, then please at least mention why you think it should be reported, and what stops you from outright reporting it. Other this is just a random image-drop thread.

I don't get this. I think the best part about this site is the 'inclusive' nature of the images. This isn't an anime image site, or a naked ladies image site, or an automobile image site, or anything else. It is a wallpaper sharing website. Just because you don't like something, doesn't mean other people aren't allowed to like it.

You don't want spread vagina wallpapers? Don't look at them... add tags to your blacklist, turn off NSFW, only browse tags you DO want to see. Some people do like them, and it really shouldn't effect you. The point (in my opinion) of this site, at the end of the day, is to include as many walls for as many people as possible. Don't like the 'glitch art' images? Someone does... or they wouldn't be on here. And it's honestly kind of rude to imply that said people need 'help' or (essentially) shouldn't be allowed on here.

What makes your preferences more important than theirs? There is a lot of shit I don't like on here, and there is a lot of stuff I absolutely love, and there is everything in between. And that's what is great about Wallhaven.

As far as the original question then: thinking a wallpaper is shitty, isn't a reason to report it. If you need to ask this question about an image, then it honestly isn't worth reporting. If it's shitty enough (quality-wise) then you'll know, and should report it. But the content of a wall (rule violations aside) is not a criteria for a report-able wall.

Anyway, this isn't directed at anyone in particular... but I've been seeing more of this on here recently, and it's fairly irritating. It's the internet people! The glory of the net is that people can like what they want, look at what they want, and be who they want (hell, I've been dead for 115 years...) and this site expresses that freedom more than most! Let's not start making a culture of humiliating and chastising those with different tastes... like what you want, and let everyone else do the same!

IMO the only wallpapers that are an instant report is those that are obvious resizes from a much smaller source. I really hate other wallpaper sites that have resize functionality built into them as that have resulted in wrong wallpapers sizes being spread across the net, many of which then find themselves on this site as well. The resize itself isn't the issue, however the quality loss due to the bad resize algorithm is.

Low Quality? [zxxp1y] It's literally just the letters KX in a font that hasn't been scaled well, only source I can find is a small greek youtube channel.

It's allready reported and IMO it's low quality and should be deleted.

According to this rule "The minimum resolution is 1024x720 for landscape images and 720x1024 for portraits." this wallpaper is too small. I've reported it only to get a message telling me it's been cleared for "false report".

What am I missing here? I'm not mad, I'm just wondering if there were exceptions to that rule that would apply in this case?

Re: grunge and glitch art, yes, these aren't easy on the eyes but are a matter of taste, not rules. ;)

Back to the original topic, it would be most helpful to simply report if in doubt (after reading and understanding the rules - seriously, we're swamped with reports right now). Common sense wins the day. Threads are more useful for discussing the specifics of rules and so on, so let's make sure here to do that and not just exchange walls that confuse us.

No, not in general. From the rules:

Only very high-quality screenshots of movies, TV series, anime and video games are allowed. Screenshots of desktops are not allowed.
