Washed out thumbnails

Somebody might need to update the library being used to generate thumbnails since it's probably buggy. I've stumbled across a whole lot of Isabel Luxlo wallpapers where the generated thumbnail's colour saturation is significantly lower than the uploaded/original wallpaper itself. Here are just some of the SFW examples. There's many more if you look under her Sketchy/NSFW images too.

I also noticed that the same thing happens when you open an image in Paint versus Windows Photo Viewer.

That sounds like a colour management issue to me. The windows photo viewer supports icc profiles, and so do most web browsers, but ms paint does not.

Is it possible that whvn's thumbnail generator is removing this information, so the thumbnails are being displayed in the wrong colour space?
