“The Scotch catechism says that man’s chief end is ‘to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.’ But we shall then know that these are the same thing. Fully to enjoy is to glorify. In commanding us to glorify Him, God is inviting us to enjoy Him.”

Idk, I guess I just assumed cuz there isn't a lot of Christian content here, and the site is pretty much overrun with lewd pics and stuff. I still feel guilty when I get carried away browsing sometimes, which happens quite a lot, NGL...😅😩

I am. I don't think there's anything wrong with browsing and collecting.

Well, of course it can be wrong. It depends on how it affects your relationship with God. You need to be insightful and honest with yourself.

I'm Christian. Though not deeply religious, yet I believe in the Trinity, the one God who is The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. ✝️

Nah man. It's wrong. I was hesitant to speak about this cuz it's something I'm guilty of myself, but it needs to be said. These pics promote sexual immorality, something the Bible has very clear standpoints on. Looking at them has an effect on your mind and relationship with God, whether or not you realize it, and whether or not you act on them. Constantly exposing yourself to content like this isn't healthy, cuz sin separates us from God. It's that simple. Plus there's the fact that they're a slippery slope, it might start with the pics, but then it graduates to porn and then it's a downward spiral from there.
You might have developed a resistance to them over time, but that's even worse in its own way. And yes God is merciful, sometimes he allows us to have our relationship with him along with these little sins, but that doesn't make it right, it doesn't make it "okay".

That's great, Jose. 😊😁 Though I highly recommend you start taking your faith a little more seriously. Apart from the fact that it helps you in so many ways, spiritual and otherwise, it's also the reason were here. God wants to have a personal relationship with you. That's why He made you.

I don't think things are in black and white. That's why Jesus didn't give specific, bullet point instructions. He didn't even write the Bible. Sexuality in itself is not a sin, it's just very dangerous because it's very tempting and it can damage our relationship with our family and with God. I'm not saying I'm not sinful, but we all have struggles in our lives so we must learn how to manage our sins and get closer to God. We are laymen after all, not monks.

Thank you for sharing your perspective, I really appreciate the sincerity behind your words. I respect faith and understand how meaningful it can be for many people. At the same time I believe everyone's spiritual journey is personal and unfolds differently. For me, I'm still exploring and learning in my own way and I value open conversations like this because they help me reflect. I'll keep your advice in mind. 🙏💙

I get what you mean. Life isn't always clear cut and we all have our own struggles. I think the important part is just trying to do better and grow closer to God in our own way. 🙏✨🤝
