Issue with Scrolling in "Latest" Category – Stuck at Page 4166

I would like to report a technical issue I’ve encountered while browsing wallpapers on your website. While using the "Latest" category on https://wallhaven.cc, I noticed that pagination or infinite scrolling stops at page number 4166. After this point, I am unable to load any further wallpapers, and the interface either shows a blank page or does not respond at all.

Keep scrolling or manually navigate pages until page 4166

Observe that after this point, wallpapers stop loading

I have confirmed this behavior on multiple browsers and systems to ensure it’s not a local issue. It appears that there may be a limit or a bug preventing further wallpaper loading beyond that page.

Hello. This problem is over a year old, and no one is in a hurry to solve it (╥﹏╥)

This is an issue for all search results. For example, searching for "anime", page 4166 works fine, but page 4167 will throw an error:

If you change the "Thumbs Per Page" in the "Browsing Options" to 64, then you can't go past page 1562.

There is a limit of 100,000 results, and beyond that, it refuses to send more results. There is a similar problem with the CNN search query. Whatever backend app is used for pagination is likely causing this issue to occur.

Maybe a time filter could be a work-around for the lastest section, like in the toplist "Last 3 months" "Last Year" with a filter by year, but so far you need to filter down your searches.

Well, this site was fun while it lasted.

Clearly wasn't an issue before, as I'd gotten into the 6000's.

FWIW, the latest entry I can see when searching all sorting by date https://wallhaven.cc/search?sorting=date_added&order=desc&page=1562 is https://wallhaven.cc/w/3zkpr3 from 4 years ago :)
