Uploader can't recognize the difference between portrait and landscape images

    The rules states:

    • The minimum resolution is 1024x720 for landscape images and 720x1024 for portraits.

However, when I try to upload something like this: (1000x1500)

(I know it's low quality-ish, that's why I didn't bother upscaling it. This is just an example.) I get the error "The file must be greater than or equal to 1024 pixels wide and greater than or equal to 768 pixels tall."

Funny thing is, this one managed to sneak through 2 years ago:

    loading
    891 x 1280110

What's going on here? Am I misunderstanding how resolutions and ratios work? I've never been able to upload something like my example there without scaling it up a little bit(and then I get reported for low quality, go figure).

    1) The dimensions (resolution/size) you provided clearly state that the image width is 1000 px which is less than 1024 px. Dimensions are ALWAYS represented as width x height.

    2) About Wallpapaer ID: 693: I think checking wether the image dimensions match the minimum requirements was not yet implemented.

defurious Has correctly deduced that the resolution check is broken and has been for a while (it only checks for landscape minimum sizes). The other wallpaper was uploaded before that bug was introduced.
